a new feature film based on the popular isekai anime Overlord. The movie will be shown in select theaters across the U.S. and Canada starting November 8, following its earlier premiere in Japanese cinemas on September 13 (IMAX) and September 20. Film Synopsis:

The Holy Kingdom of Roble, once protected by towering walls and led by the Holy Princess Calca, has enjoyed a long period of peace. However, this tranquility is shattered when the Demon Emperor Jaldabaoth and his coalition of demi-humans launch a sudden invasion.

In a desperate attempt to defend their homeland, Remedios, the leader of the Holy Knights, and her sister Keralt, leader of the Priests, gather their forces. Despite their efforts, they are no match for Jaldabaoth’s overwhelming power, and the Holy Kingdom teeters on the brink of destruction.

Seeking aid against this formidable foe, Remedios, along with her Holy Knights and servant Neia, turns to the Sorcerer Kingdom of Ains Ooal Gown. This undead-ruled nation is despised by the people of the Holy Kingdom, but it may be their only hope.
